- I graduated Carleton University with a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialty in Aerodynamics. During this time I fell in love with programming. I have been employed at PIKA technologies for almost 8 years. I started writing test code for the Product Verification department. I then moved to Software Development for several years. I am currently a Field Application Engineer in the Customer Care department working full time in getting our customers application's deployed on the appliance. Let the FUN begin.
I am also an avid Formula 1 fan, particularly of the Ferrari Team. I am also a big proponent of the Linux operating system and try to spread the joy whenever I can. I currently use Fedora for my development work. I immediately installed the new openSuSE 11.0 on my work laptop to get a feeling for the new KDE4 as KDE is my preferred desktop environment. It is very nice but a little rough around the edges still. I look forward to getting updates in the near future.
